AUDITIONS - Dancers Wanted
We regularly take new talent to join our dance teams and musical productions. If you would like to apply please send CV’s with a head and body shot to leena@flexfxproductions for the Flex FX Elite Dance Team or to naz@flexfxproductions.com for Essence – The Bollywood Dance Spoectaular. All auditions are strictly INVITE ONLY. If you are selected through this initical process you will be invited to attend a open dance with the professional team. All ethnicities welcome.
We are searching for strong dancers with stage presence and confidence on the dance floor. Professionals and dancers with experience are welcome. Please note this is not dance development standard and if you are an improver, we would strongly recommend you come through the dance classes first.
Male dancers are also welcome to apply but we a specifically looking for aerialists, acrobats and B Boys.

Essence – The Last Stand
After the huge success of blockbusters such as Dhamaka at Royal Albert Hall and the Essence Tour, we now proudly bring back our masterpiece: Project Essence 3. This project will take place over six months, incorporating various mainstream events and as a finale we will stage Essence – The Bollywood Dance Spectacular.
Contract Duration – 6 Months
Project Breakdown:
September – Open Auditions
October – Diwali Event
November – World Music Festival(Norway)
February – Hosting a Production
February – 3-Day Exhibition
March – Performance Awards Ceremony
March – Essence – The Bollywood Dance Spectacular
• Rehearsals will take place on some evenings and weekends and will pick up nearer to each section of the project. Please note that some of the sections are paid and some are promotional based on how well you do in the project. Only in the musical production in March will all the artists perform; numbers may go up and down in the other sections so it will be competitive every step of the way.
Project Essence is a journey which builds an elite team of dancers alongside some of the finest specialists in the Arts and Entertainment sector. After the success of the previous projects, this is the third and final part of Essence.
Over the previous 2 projects, members of Essence have ranged from students to people in full-time work. The project will build itself into your lifestyle but you also will need to put in full commitment when necessary - if you cannot, please do not apply. |

Standard Requirements
ACTORS
Demonstrate a sketch or improvisation. If you would like to take a lead role you will need dance ability. Character profiles will soon be available on the Flex FX website.

DANCERS
Audition at 11am
You will be required to pick up 2 routines and demonstrate versatility; the production consists of Bollywood, Latin, Urban, Contemporary and Classical styles. You will also have the opportunity to show us what you can do, whether it's tricks or your own routine.
